My teaching approach:
My approach is aimed directly towards teaching individuals from all levels and aspects of music patiently. I will teach students anywhere from Top Ten Hits to Extreme Metal and everything in-between. I create all of my lessons myself and believe that doing so allows for a better understanding, as well as a more personal approach for developing each student in their own way. I taylor each and every lesson to accommodate each individual student. I have been playing for 15+ years and professionally recording and performing for over 10.

I can see how confident and experienced a student is the moment they hold and strum their instrument. Based off of their abilities, I rationalize strengths and weaknesses and take it from there.
A guitar lesson with me might entail the following:
Depending on the student. A student starting with my Beginner course would focus more on proper handling and posture before heading into theory and learning songs. My Intermediate and Advanced courses would typically start with seeing where the student is at and then going from there.
The qualities I look for in an ideal guitar student might include the following:
A student who practices from lesson to lesson and has a natural passion for music.
