Excellent personalization of lessons to meet my needs. Carla is a superb teacher who got me started on the fundamentals whilst also maximizing quick wins (playing my dream songs) to keep it interesting!

I wanted to first share, before my lessons with Romantic Devil Records, I never even picked up an instrument. I thought learning to play was not something I had the time for or even the skills to do. I first tried to learn via an app and it just didnt work for me. I have been taking lessons with Carla for many years and I was wrong. Carla was able to personalize my lessons based on how I learn. It goes beyond playing, she also knows music theory and history. With Carlas teaching I learned how to play the guitar, piano and even the harmonica! She starts you with the basics and then breaks down the songs you love to hear and sing along to into a fun lesson. I am now playing more advanced songs and even have written a song with her help. Being able to play music has had such a positive impact in my life. I appreciate everything I have learned and continue to learn each lesson. And also have some fun and laughs along the way.
