All students are different so we tailor the approach to the student and the students goals.
All students will be playing the piano by the end of the first lesson.
Our approach is wholistic and includes listening as well as playing. We use a multi sensory approach and we are masters at working with all types of children and adults

How did you get started teaching?
Instarted teaching in high school to make some extra money. I had been playing piano since age 3 and figured I would enjoy the instructional aspect.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types! From 4 year olds to adults. We have even had visually impaired students as well as students on the autism spectrum.
We have worked with beginners and we have had students go off to major in music education at prestigious schools.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our winter recital was outstanding! This past year there were several adults that actually wanted to play and it was a great event overall. The kids are always great, all dressed up in suits and dresses. They work hard and it is great to see them succeed and take pride in their achievement.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
look for someone that is truly interested in teaching and enjoys it! If they are just the lady down the street who also teaches and is not very capable, you may find cheap lessons with no results. There is a skill to proper musi instruction.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Please feel free to talk to our teachers about everything. The better the communication, the better the lesson.
