While I am a recent graduate of The Cleveland Institute of Music with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music for Audio Recording, I have taught privately and held music sessions while still in high school, and also have an absolutely solid understanding for music theory. I started piano when I was about five years old. Since then, I performed at the Walter Engel Festival of Young Performers for eight years, and received a scholarship in 2011. I also received high commendations for eight years at the National Piano Playing Auditions, and made it all the way to Collegiate Level. I am adapt at classical, jazz, and pop music. I additionally played for the jazz ensemble for Case Western Reserve University, performing at the Lakeland Jazz Festival in Lakeland Community College, Ohio in 2014. I have also played drum kit for various productions for the volunteer musical theatre company OnStage. I also received a Partial Scholarship for a Five Year course at Interlochen Center for the Arts for my percussion playing, and was a timpanist with the New Jersey Music Educators Association and New Jersey School Music Association Honor Bands and Orchestras, where I performed at the New Jersey Educators Association Convention at Atlantic City.Given the nature of the job, I am very tolerant and good at working with kids, particularly the younger ones, because I’ve been in their shoes, driving and eager to learn new things on an instrument. I live less than an hour away, so transportation will definitely be no problem at all. I have been currently following the trends of music for a long time and it definitely won’t be hard for me explain even the hardest of concepts to potential students.
