Steve Krause is an American guitarist, producer and sought after music teacher with over eight years of experience in the music industry. Steve has been an avid guitar player for over ten years and has been teaching people of all ages, backgrounds and levels for the last six years. His experience with professional musicians includes studying under guitarist Jack Broad, attending a masterclass with jazz musician Bruce Forman, vocal lessons with Zuke Smith, showcasing with Sony, Island Records, Universal Music Group and touring with his band. Steve is currently in the process of writing, recording, producing and mixing his own album. Steve’s goal is to help people expand their love for music and creativity all while improving drastically on their instrument. His lessons are goal-oriented and non-stressful. Whatever your goal as a musician may be, Steve hopes to help you achieve it in the most natural, fun way! Steve specializes in jazz, rock, blues, songwriting, music theory and sight reading.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with a new student starts with what their musical goals are. Once determined, I will see where they are and see what areas need work to help achieve their goals.

I have worked with all different types of students! From as young as 6 years old, all the way up to 65+!

With my help, learning music can be fun and functional.Together we will outline and provide guidance to help you practice both in and outside of our lesson times to help you excel.
