Hi my name is Mike! I am a boxing trainer and coach!! I love to help my clients get into the best shape of their lives,and reach their goals, and learn the proper technique of boxing!! Safety comes first with my service!! I will provide great knowledge to my clients which will help them achieve their goals!!! I have been a boxer and coach so I have great knowledge in both areas of the boxing world!! I have fought in the golden gloves and also worked with professional fighters and also have been to pro training camps!! I started boxing in 1998 and competed till 2012 now I just coach!! I trained in Plainfield NJ.i am a member of USA Boxing!!
I love my job because of my clients!! They learn how to build discipline and confidence and see great results!! And most of all we all have fun!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I have them fill out a health questionnaire. then I ask them what their goals are and if they have any limitations. After that then I start their workout with a warm up then boxing instruction and technique then calisthenics.,abs,and cool down!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was taught boxing by a three-time national coach and two-time Olympic coach and also by Lennox Lewis assistant coach!!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a YMCA because I saw all these trainers teaching the wrong technique of boxing!!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with children from 5 years old and up to teenagers to young adults and Men up to 60 years old! I also taught girls, teenagers, and women!! I trained clients for self-defense for competitions for fitness and for cardiovascular training!!
