I offer violin instruction to serious students, beginners as well as intermediate and advanced children and adults. I hold a Bachelor and Master Degree from Juilliard where I studied with Dorothy Delay and over 20 years experience teaching and performing worldwide. My teaching method is tailored to each student and it combines elements of Russian, American and Suzuki schools.
I enjoy working with students of all ages and levels/abilities. I expect my students to practice and prepare and offer them an engaging and in-depth understanding of the musical material: note reading, rhythm, intonation, phrasing, dynamics, understanding of styles. I use a number of different methods and organize frequent performances for my students.
I have a number of accolades and have served on the jury of a number of competitions for young violinists.
