I began studying with Ms. Sarc in November 2018 and have been having regular lessons with her since then.

She is a wonderful teacher who helped me improve my playing immensely and continuously offers insight on ways to technically and musically improve. Not only does she provide insight, Ms. Sarc encourages me to develop my own ideas and thoughts, which are crucial as a classical musician.

Despite not being able to have lessons in person, we continue to have quality lessons via the internet which have been equally effective.

I highly recommend studying with Ms. Sarc.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First I get to know the student's musical background and discuss their musical goals. Then I set up a customized program for the student, including a practice plan for them to follow, with specific musical repertoire and technical exercises.

Then, we set up a lesson schedule and begin!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I graduated from The Juilliard School and work as a freelance violinist in NYC. I enjoy a versatile performance and teaching career and I have studied with some of the most renowned teachers in the world who have shaped my teaching philophies. I was violin faculty at the Merit School of Music in Chicago and have been teaching on the online platform Virtu Academy for the last 3 years in addition to my own private students.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge between $70-120 per hour. My price is negotiable and I am happy to discuss it with the student.

How did you get started teaching?

I began teaching privately during my studies at Juilliard and quickly discovered that teaching is one of my greatest passions in life as well as my strength.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with beginners to advanced levels, ages 3-60.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

To communicate with the teacher in advance about what they want to learn, accomplish and gain in their lessons.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Tell them what musical styles they are interested in as well as if they have any injuries.
