The first time I got up on a piano I was 2 years old. However my parents didn't get me lessons until I was 10. But I've been in love ever since! I graduated from the performing arts high school Las Vegas Academy majoring in Piano (Class of 2011). In July2014 I started performing on the Las Vegas strip with the original band Walk Off Hits (www.walkoffhits.com) having the absolute time of my life playing venues like Aria, MGM, House of Blues, Brooklyn Bowl, headlining NASCAR and more!! Finally I started teaching piano one on one to ages 4 and up in July2016. I also just moved to the Cleveland area in Oct2019.
I've always loved performing infornt of people. Its just the greatest feeling in the world! You'll always see a huge smile on my face when I'm on the stage, it's where I belong.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to get to know the student asking them what they already know and what their goals are with Piano. Generally I'll always teach them how to read music and start with basic 5 Finger Exercises to get them started. But depending on experience or what they want to learn I'll tailor the lessons to their wants and desires.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ive been studying music since 2000. Performing professionally since 2014, and teaching since 2016.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 per 30min lesson or $60 per 60min lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to do music full time but wasn't making enough from the gigs so I decided why not share my love of music and piano by teaching!!
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all kinds of students from young 3-4yrs old to older 50+yrs old. I've worked with kids that have trouble learning the basics and I've worked with kids that excel quickly through the material. I'm also used to working with younger kids that have shorter attention spans I can usually get them back on track and focused so they can learn the material.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
At Guitar Center we have the students perform in a recital at the end of each quarter. This past quarter I had some of my younger students perform and they did so well! I've never been so happy!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say do your research make sure you know who you're hiring. Even after you've picked someone take some time before or after the first lesson to talk to them and really build that rapport to know if they're the right fit for you.
