About

at Bhardwaj Music Academy, we believe music is not only a skill, but also an attitude towards life, a way of thinking, a method to express, and a companion along the journey. Through music, people discover themselves; through listening, people understand each other: music brings people together. Based on these beliefs, we won’t only be focusing on techniques, but also on keeping and developing student’s passion, discovery and communication. We create a customized lesson program that will ensure maximum results at a pace that works best for student’s goal.

What we really love is hearing our students find and develop their own individual voices on their chosen instruments - that is what the art of improvising is all about. We also enjoy the challenge of figuring out how each student thinks and learns, and how we can help them achieve their goals. It's a true joy to guide others on their musical path.

Jeremy is an amazing instructor. He understands how to teach fundamentals of music while at the same time making it fun, engaging, and challenging. His program of study has significantly helped my sons self esteem - to where he sees a piano and just sits down to play - because he loves it! The way Jeremy has encouraged the students to use mixed media in his program is just so cool. The students thrive and grow and love tackling challenges. These are all skills we want our kids to have when they are adults, right? And, Jeremy has found a way to help that growth happen through the right guidance. We couldnt be more thrilled with the progress our son has made with Jeremy as his instructor. Thanks to BMA for providing us the best we could ever find.

Mr Edward is a fantastic teacher and most important of all he has a big heart for kids and master the skills to nurture them to appreciate music. My kids, joe & misa, started taking lesson since they were in elementary school. Joe now is heading towards his advance level and Misa working on Level 5. They never feel the pressure or else they could have given up long time ago. Mr Edward is great in helping students accelerate the levels at their own pace. The key is he lets you have fun in learning vocal and enjoy the beauty of music. Thanks to BMA.

Frequently asked questions

When we begin with a new student we ask them a few questions to determine their goals. Then we create a plan and explain how we'll meet the goals. Typically, we utilize several methods and select the method that best suits the student. All of our students are taught in variety of Technic (scales and chords) classical and contemporary repertoire, music theory, sight reading and ear training.

All of our instructors are professional, talented, qualified, friendly, calm and dedicated to teaching. We background check every instructor before they teach a single lesson/program. We take teaching and professionalism very seriously!

We aim to keep our prices as affordable as possible while still maintaining the highest level of educational ethics possible. In an effort to reduce prices, we offer a multitude of discounts. Contact us to get a price quote!

We have worked with students from age 5 to 80! This has included beginners and advanced students, recreational players, college students, people who just wanted to learn to play a song or two, students trying to get into a conservatory, and many more. We also have experience teaching children with special needs including Autism and ADHD.

We beleive, The right teacher can make a wonderful difference in your life. The wrong one can set you back both musically and emotionally. The key factors in a successful relationship between student and teacher is understanding each others expectations and managing those expectations.  In addition, students must make a commitment to practice.

We would say the most important thing is to find someone you gel with- that makes you feel excited to play/ sing, and that makes you feel happy and confident. Nothing can kill joy like a negative attitude, or feeling of insecurity. Look for a teacher that can pivot if something is not working.

What are your musical goals?

What kind of music do you like to listen to?

What kind of music do you want to play?

If you're an adult, did you have lessons as a child? If so, what were they like? Do you hope they will be like that or different?
