What is your typical process for working with a new student?

If you’re an adult beginner, we offer our flagship class, Complete Beginners Guitar Course, for adults. This class meets for one hour, once a week, for ten weeks. By the end of the class, you’ll be ready to play a mind blowing concert for your family and friends!
For all age groups, and levels of advancement, we offer private lessons for one or two people. As a private student, you will have access to our online resources, as well as a more personalized curriculum, tailored to your specific wants and needs. We focus on developing excellent practice skills and re-enforcing a deep love of guitar playing, and music in general!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All teachers have at least a bachelors degree in music. Alex Rubin, founder of Long Beach Guitar School has a bachelors degree in classical guitar performance, from The Crane of Music, at SUNY Potsdam. For the past ten years, he has worked as a full time teacher at NYC Guitar School, teaching classes and private lessons, to all ages, levels,and styles.

Trial lesaons are discounted to $30+tax.
Single lesson prices are as follow:
30 minutes - $40+tax
45 minute lesson - $50+tax
60 minute lesson - $60+tax
Lesson packages purchased in groups of 5, are $10 less per lesson.
What types of students have you worked with?
Guitar and bass students only.
