NAkisha H. says, "Coach Max is highly skilled professional who is patient, funny and kick-ass. My workout incorporated boxing and functional fitness. You don't realize how hard you are working during the hour long session until you see how much sweat you are leaving on the floor Nd the "awareness" of your muscles later in the day." Read more

I have been a practitioner and teacher for 45 years. I was also a seminar leader at China's "Women in Daoism" conference in 2011 and presented my work with senior citizens at the 2009 International Tai Chi Symposium in Nashville, Tennessee. I have received numerous foundation grants for my work with senior citizens and in community mental health programs. Since I have received so many benefits from my Tai Chi practice, I enjoy sharing what I have learned. Particularly, I enjoy seeing people improve physically in terms of balance, mentally in terms of concentration and focus, and emotionally in terms of having a better disposition....

Reviews for New York aikido classes

Recent success stories from people in the New York area.
Iselle V.
Coach Brian is an excellent instructor and genuinely cares about his students. We focused on what I was struggling with at the moment, and I felt that the skills I took away from the lesson helped me during live rolls. He also provided me with tools to use in shaping my workouts, which improve my strength and mobility. I highly recommend booking a lesson if you are trying to elevate your jiu-jitsu!

He's a lot of fun to work with! I'm a song writer and our sessions were designed to give me a chord vocabulary I could then use to compose new materials with. Kevin's direct approach saved me lots of time and money.

I have been training with Xsavier for almost a year now and he is a phenomenal instructor! He always plans his lessons ahead of time to ensure that every class is never wasted. Xsavier is very encouraging and will always strive to help you surpass your limits and achieve your full potential. Xsavier makes his lessons interesting and fun by finding ways to connect with his students, which makes it feel like youre training with a friend!
