About
Craig Klonowski Music Services, founded in 2000 and based in New York, NY, provides private music lessons, composition and scoring, arranging, and live performance for weddings, events, and creative projects. Led by professional teacher, musician, and composer Craig Klonowski, the practice also offers string ensemble performances, including the Galactica String Quintet, and custom scores for film and media.
Klonowski holds a Master of Music Education from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University. His performance credits include principal double bass with the United Nations Symphony and work with Camerata New York Orchestra, Centre Symphony, and Regina Opera. He serves as a tenured instrumental music teacher at Simon Baruch Middle School and maintains an active studio as a private instructor, composer, arranger, and recording musician.
His scoring work spans multiple short films, with projects earning recognition such as the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences College Emmy Humanitarian Award and Best Animation honors at the Dragon*Con Independent Film Festival and Asheville Film Festival. Professional affiliations include ASCAP, the American Federation of Musicians Local 802, and the United Federation of Teachers.
