I have been a professional musician for many years. I have played in several styles and I have traveled throughout the USA as well as Spain, Italy, Turkey and Puerto Rico. From my vast experience, I feel that I have alot to share with my students.
I find it very rewarding when I see my students' progress. Teaching is always a learning experience for the teacher, as well.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I try to find ot what the student may balready know about music in general as well as the guitar. I try to learn what their goals are. Then I plan a course of action to help them achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied with the innovative jazz guitarist, Howard Morgen, one of Segovia's disciples, Rodrigo Riera and at Hunter College under Professor James Harrison of the Paris Conservatory. In addition, my years of playing and teaching have given me an education as well.
