I am a musician's musician. I've been playing for close to 15 years and teaching for 5. I have a deep understanding, love and respect for the way music is approached and made in many styles and this makes my work come very naturally to me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Seeing where their passions lie is most important to me. Everyone picks up an instrument for a reason. Getting to the root of their enjoyment of music is possibly the key to helping someone get better at playing and understanding their jounrney.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Close to 15 years of playing and recording in the industry. My training was done on the fly and took my own abilities in problem solving and discipline to create a name for myself in music scenes ranging from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as up into New England and now out in the Midwest.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask Questions! Don't expect just any teacher to be the best teacher for YOU. Getting to know each other personally is a huge benefit to adding to your enjoyment and success with lessons. Don't expect anything to fast and be confident that you're able to achieve your goals. With solid practice and self discipline you'll always be rewarded.
