I am a first of all Miami University Music Education Graduate. My goal is to be a private music teacher. As a teacher, my goal is to promote educational leadership and a love of learning. Fallowed by to teach my students the value of music in their culture. My students should also know how music relates to other subject matters. I expect a lot out of my students so this is why I like challenging my students every day to do their best. Finally, every student deserves a chance to enjoy the opportunity of playing music.Finding what my students love a about learning seems to be one of my best qualities. One of my favorite things is when one of my students uses something that I have taught them. Then they start teaching me something in return. I believe that if my students can teach the material they have learned it. In return, this shows that they have digested the material and are able to use it to there own advantage. I am passionate about learning and it is my job to provide an environment conducive to learning. In future classes, I hope that my students value music in many cultures. Music is one of the oldest forms of communication and recreational activity. You can see that as music changes, culture also changes. An example of this is when jazz came to the foreground. It affected the culture of the United States. My students should also know how music relates to other subject matters. This is an important because it shows connection to the learning process.Next, I hope to instill the importance of playing music as an ensemble. They enhance students' patience levels, understanding of music, and their cultural prospective of music. It also pushing students general knowledge. If my students practice their instruments with proper instruction. They will have confidence to lead their section. This will develop many characteristics they will need as an adult in today's society.Challenging my students every day to do their best is one of my main goals as a teacher. Theses students will be our future teachers, car mechanic, and musicians. I believe that it is my responsibility to guide, push, and inspire them. As a teacher, you should inspire your students to work to their fullest potential. Once you have done this, then you have done your job as an educator. Finally, every student deserves a chance to enjoy the opportunity of playing music. Music has been one of my loves for a long time. I believe that with proper instruction every student should be able to enjoy music and/ or play music. Studies have shown that music can stimulate the brain to be receptive when it comes to learning. Using this concept, my students, I will be the liaison for this method of teaching.
