Although I have a master's in Church Music and Piano Concentration, and over 25 years of experience, the most important thing for anyone to know about me is that I love music, teaching, and children! What a wonderful combination to have when teaching piano! I also teach children with special needs.
Mrs. Massie (Ms. Rosalee) was the best instructor we could have asked for our son. She was patient, kind and so knowledgeable about all things piano. Our son has mild autism but that didn’t hinder Ms. Rosalee’s instruction, she taught in stride. I highly recommend!
Rosalee Massie is a very realible teacher. Very professional and knowledgeable. My daughter is 4 years old and we just finished our first season of preschool piano classes. My daughter is a very high energy kid that could not sit still and I myself was in doubt that she could handle the class, even it is was a playbased piano class. I am happy to say that she actually finished successfully and enjoy the class a lot. That class help my daughter in so many ways! She learn about piano keys, learn new songs and games but I think the benefits of those clases day by day goes further on a 4 year old mind that I could possible imagine. Thanks Rosalee, can't wait to start fall season 2020.
We really enjoyed every lesson! Rosalee made each lesson fun and laid back. She encourages her students to do their best in all they do! She cares about her students and their families! Rosalee is one of the best and we would choose her again and again!
Rosalee is patient an makes learning piano fun!
I see each student as a unique human being. I like to get to know what their likes and dislikes are; when we begin, I ask for a short autobiography to get to know them better, their goals, their dreams, their interests... I use a method called Piano Pronto and incorporate games and other off-the-bench activities, as well as other methods and pieces.
I have a Master's in Church Music with Piano Concentration, and over 27 years of teaching experience, including those with special needs.
Monthly tuition is due the first week of each month.
When I was in graduate school, we had to do student-teaching. I got hooked. :)
I teach all ages, all levels. Students include very gifted to those who struggle to learn and other special needs.
Look for someone who cares for you as a person, who enjoys teaching, who enjoys having fun, and who pushes you to do the very best that you can!
Why do I want to learn piano? How can I use it eventually? Am I willing to work hard and do my best? Do I have to enter contests? Do you have recitals? What have other students/ parents said about the teacher?
