I'm laid back and I teach from an easy going style . No drama or formality . You just have to want to learn and enjoy doing it . I'm friendly and have a no judgement zone . I teach ear training and prefer beginners . I have over 40 yrs music experince and I'm a performing /recording artist .

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I sit down with new prospects and ask them ,if this is something they really want ? What are your goals and how long do you think you may need to learn . I have them hold a guitar while we interview . I typically have them learn a few chords right away if they are willing .
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied with a guitar teacher at Hauer music when I was in my teens . Othet than that ,I have learned on my own .
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
1HR for adults is $25.00dollars . First lesson or consultation is the same for adults . With children,it varies . I would rather work close to home . To travel would cost extra money that I would have to charge to the students .
How did you get started teaching?
I had people make request's that I teach them guitar . Over the years my student base increased . Some have moved on to other things and some are still with me . Some are seasonal .

Senior's . Teenagers . People wit autism and some wknd warriors .

Look for someone flexible and ask them questions . Lots of questions .
