My teaching approach:Investing in learning good basic technique will pay great dividends for the rest of your guitar playing career. The trick is to have fun, and work on music you like while you're learning it. I specialize in teaching children as young as 6 and my oldest student is over 80!

Usually three stages - 1) technique/warm-up 2) review music that has been practiced, or pieces from memory 3) time to demonstrate, and give the student time to play through new techniques/assigned music for the next week.
