We believe in teaching our students the music that they are interested in learning. Our goal is to bring a perfect blend of creativity, fun and structure to each lesson.
The "ah-ha moments" only come when students are fully engaged. Students are only fully engaged when the instructor can capture and keep students' attention and fascination through patience, skill, meaningful interaction and sometimes comedy! The occurrence of epiphanies /"ah-ha moments" with students is a very rewarding and gratifying experience - and at La Di Da it happens often!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During our initial phone conversation, we determine the best approach for each student based on their needs. We then pair them with the instructor who will best meet those needs. If, for any reason, the student would like to try a different approach and perhaps a different teacher, that can be easily arranged. One of our top priorities is that the teacher be a good "fit" for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a student of music since age 5 (now 56). I attended classes as a Music Major (with a minor in Recording Technology) at Sonoma State University. I have participated in numerous professional performing musical groups (of various styles- on various instruments) and have been happily teaching music since 2004.
