What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The student should contemplate on why they wish to learn an intrument (a hobby, being able to play with others, relaxation and mental wellness, or pursueing music as a career). This will let an instructor know how fast to go and how hard to push.
The student should be honest with themselves and the teacher about how much time they have, or are willing, to spend on learning a new instrument.
