Very nice and easy to talk to. Brittney is very friendly and helpful and was able to answer all the questions I had about my young daughter who will be taking piano lessons for the first time in her life. Thank you again Gina Abono-Valera

    Frequently asked questions

In 2019, I received my B.A. in Music Education with a concentration in woodwind performance in addition to my K-12 Teacher of Music certification. I have been working one-on-one with students for 10 years, and I have worked with students in a wide variety of group settings, including group piano lessons, duet coaching, marching bands, and classroom teaching. All of our teachers hold a B.A. in Music or higher, are seasoned performing musicians, skilled teachers, and wonderful people!

We offer weekly 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute lessons during a time slot that is reserved for you (either online or in person), with the option to reschedule your weekly lesson when life happens. We charge a flat rate per month of $150 for weekly 30 minute lessons, $200 for weekly 45 minute lessons, and $250 for weekly 60 minute lessons or two weekly 30 minute lessons. Discounts and scholarships are available based on payment method, family size, and financial need.

We have students of all ages and walks of life - from the 4-year-old just discovering music, to the retiree fulfilling their lifelong dream to learn an instrument, the the high schooler preparing for their college auditions. We will meet you where you are and take you where you need to go!

Although I would have loved to have in-person recitals in 2020, I absolutely loved putting together online recitals with my students. They displayed such persistence, resilience, and musicality that made me incredibly proud to be their teacher!

Let potential teachers know what your learning style is, and what you think you'll need from them in order to feel supported and do your best!

Also consider your personal needs, such as more flexible scheduling or extreme consistency. Do you prefer to have lots of communication throughout the week, or more independence? What future needs might the student have - are they starting on piano, but dreaming of playing the flute someday? Are they just beginning their fundamentals, but love jazz? Ask potential teachers what their areas of specialty are, and how they align with the journey you are about to take.
