My teaching approach:

Teaching philosophy: I believe in confidence building and using that confidence as the force to accomplish goals. I assess what a student's interests are and gauge where their confidence level is. I then cultivate and grow this confidence within the student by helping them play the things they are interested in. It could be a theme from a movie or something they heard on the radio. Many of the songs people hear everyday are surprisingly simple. Whatever it may be I can break it down and make it playable for even the most timid beginner. Each small success builds and reinforces confidence

My influences are:

.All the great guitarists no matter what style. Segovia, Paco De Lucia, ximo tebar, george benson, thommy emanuel, john Doan, and of course Piazzolla, Chopin, Bach, and all the great dead composers.

Generally we do a variety of things and probe into different aspects of playing the guitar. But first what kind of music do you like? This has a great deal to do with what we may do. A classical student will require a different physical technique to play. Also, this depends on the age and experience of the student and there is only 450 charchters allowed here so..
