I am a professional guitarist and have a lot of experience with both adults and children including those with special needs.
I enjoy watching students progress and have fun with music. Music is a lot of fun and I try and teach my students how to play music with others which is one of the aspects I enjoy most about playing music myself.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It really depends on the student. I like to start with learnging songs by learning chords and strumming techniques. I would typically augment this with working through a book to learn how to read music and a bit about music theory etc at the same time.
Concentrate on learning songs and learning to play with others.
