What is unique about me is my experience at a young age. I have been in several bands of different genres and I play 6 instruments as well as sing. Having a multi Instrumentalist teacher is an advantage because not only can I teach your instrument of choice but I can teach how your instrument relates and fits in with other instruments. I also have a home studio where I do my lessons. In my studio I have all the instruments of a band. I consider myself a one stop shop. I can help anyone from beginners learning their first chord to the garage band looking for advice on how to take the next step and get out of the garage. I pride myself in my abilty to communicate the information you need to empower your creativity without the process feeling like to much work. Right from the start we wil learn some of your favorite songs to learn the techniques needed to take you to the next step in your playing. I am comfortable with beginner up to proficient students. Styles I am familair with inlcude Rock, Pop, Blues, Metal, Country, Punk, Hip Hop, R & B as well as several other modern and old school sub genres. Not only can we learn your way around the instument but I can also teach the theory needed to write a song whether its a pop song or psychedelic rock song. I do not teach sheet music nor do I teach in a formal mannor. I teach in a way that is disigned to get the information across while keeping things fun, light, and keeping your attention and passion for music.
I remember how awesome it felt to successfully play my first Led Zeppelin song. I still feel that way every day of my life when I get to help the next generation of musicians experience the same thing. The best part is watching them grow and eventually being able to play or jam with them.
Dylan is very patient, and well understood by my son. My son really likes taking lessons with Dylan as he gets right down at his level with learning.

I graduated from Berks Career and Technology Center where I studied audio engineering and directing. I also have years of field experience playing in bands, recording in studios, playing covers, writing songs, and improv jam sessions. I have been in two serious bands one of which was signed to an indie label called Darkshore Records. That band was called At the Harbour. My latest group was called Daybones. Both have professionlly recorded music on Youtube.
