I have written and played music for over 20 years. I began teaching in high school and have developed an outstanding lesson plan that focuses on the students strengths and is highly customizable.
Music is universal. Listening to music can be healing. Playing music can be transformative. I love teaching guitar to anyone who wants to learn.

Dave is so kind and patient. I came to him to prepare for a vocal audition and he helped me thru all of it, from choosing the right pieces to audition etiquette, and of course singing technique! He was even able to help me work on a monologue that went with my song. So helpful- I felt really prepared and the tools he gave me continue to help my practice. So lucky to have him as a teacher!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want my student to WANT to practice, so I always let the student pick what songs they want to learn. It gives people the urge to practice if they get to play their favorite songs.
