Emily started working my daughter years ago in Jacksonville, and even though she moved away to OR, we've always stayed in touch. Now we can reconnected with virtual music lessons. She listens to my daughter and helps her grow thru music. She's very positive, encouraging, and fun at every lesson. She works with my daughter on voice, piano, and guitar.

Emily has been teaching my teen daughters for a couple of years now. They absolutely LOVE working with Emily! They tell me that they look forward to her lessons that are the highlight of their week. Emily is an outstanding, practicing artist that we've seen in concert. She teaches music and vocal skills while providing choice on music selections as well as opportunities to perform for an audience. She accompanies with piano or guitar during the lessons and performances. Emily is warm and positive, easy to be around. She is an outstanding, enthusiastic teacher who instills in her students a love of music and performance. I HIGHLY recommend her.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We begin by getting an idea of what kind of music a new student likes, identifying what they would like to accomplish and how I can get them from point A to B.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I went to University for music education and I have been teaching and putting on large-scale student showcases in the US from coast to coast for over 10 years.
