Sharing music with people has been the lasting joy in my life. That's what my lessons are all about, sharing music together. Music that you enjoy and care about, specific to your taste.
What you can expect from me as a teacher is to cater to your needs, be genuine with you, and be patient while we learn from each other.
My musical background ranges from choral singing, musical theater, to over ten years of guitar and bass guitar. My musical taste also extends far across genres and have always been a music history nerd as well as a musician. There is never enough to learn when it comes to music.
I'm currently accepting clients for beginner guitar lessons and beginner electric bass lessons. While there are reopenings in the public, lessons will remain online only. The rates for classes are $20 for a 30 min. session and $40 for an hour session, 60 min.
When it comes to creative thinking, nothing sparks inspiration quite like the cooperation of another artist. Working with people has inspired me to teach. Sharing a love of art and music with another person allows us to create a greater sense of community which is a vital part of life.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is about discussing what you would like to get out of our time together. If you have never picked up a guitar before that might mean you'd like to learn certain chords and scales or, you might want help learning to play one of your favorite songs. If you have learned some basics and want to dig into music theory, that is also a possibility.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over ten years of guitar experience focusing on a foundation of blues, soul, folk, and jazz.
