My Teaching Background
Started playing guitar at the age of 7. By the age of 10 I began my first teaching experience. I had the guitars and bass and the garage to make a band in, but none of my friends could play. So that is how my teaching career began.
Presently, I have been teaching in the Salem area for 24 years, the first 9 of them through my old sales job at Weathers Music Corp. and the last 15 years as The MusicGuy Inc. I am also the guitar teacher for the last 5 years at Santiam High School in Mill City for the American Pop Class. I have extensive touring and recording experience, and I have the patience to work with anyone. I teach ages 6 to 86.
