Hello, my name is Dawn and I have been playing the guitar since 1995, trombone since 1992 and a few other instruments I have played through the years. I have experience playing in bands, orchestras and solo. If the guitar is your first instrument, I will help you learn and understand music theory with our session as well. I have a book that I love, so we will be working from that, but I also want to be able to teach you songs that you love as well. I have my own business as a Early Childhood Music Educator and travel to different preschools in the area. Email me if you would like to chat more about lessons.

Monthly payment is due by the first lesson of the month. 30 minute weekly lesson is $23.00
Checks and cash are accepted.
How did you get started teaching?
As a preschool music teacher, there were only so many ways to branch out my business. Guitar lessons are a great way to expand!
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages! Guitar lessons should start around age 7.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you feel comfortable with the teacher. Make sure they are easy to understand and thorough with your lesson. You are paying them to help you learn a very special and fulfilling craft.
