A. B. Clark Traditional American Music

I'm a self-taught guitar player, singer, songwriter, & lyricist, with a focus on traditional American roots music, such as Delta Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, and Country. I also play & write more modern sounding music from time to time. I learned to play guitar in way that is considered unorthodox to the relatively few who know and understand what an open guitar tuning is. Open tunings are very different from the standard E guitar tuning, and first used by the Delta Bluesmen of Mississippi with a bottle neck slide. Playing guitar in an open tuning is a much more intuitive way of learning & playing, & I can guarantee that as long as you're not tone deaf, and you can keep a halfway steady rhythm, you'll be playing at least a simple melody by the end of our first lesson.
