About
I believe that learning music can be positive life altering experience. I teach not only how to play the songs that students enjoy, but also the techniques and theory behind them.
Watching students learn and grow, watching their excitement as they get down a song or lick that they worked on is incredibly satisfying.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It depends on the skill level of the student, for example: If a student has been playing a little while on their own I'll ask them to play something for me, a riff to a song or maybe a couple chords. I'll watch their technique as they play and evaluate where the student needs improvement and what the should begin working on first.
If it’s a new student that has never played before, I’ll show them how to hold the guitar, how to properly hold the pick, Some simple strumming and simple finger exercises etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at Musicians' Intitute and Hollwood Canilfonia.
And I've been playing, recording, and teaching since 1992.
