Our music school provides music instructions in piano, keyboard, organ, voice, guitar , percussion and dance for ages 2 yrs and up. Our classes are held Tuesdays 2-8 pm, Wednesday's 2-8 pm, Thursday's 2-8 pm and Saturdays, 9am-3 pm. We welcome new students and offer many special discounted packages or scholarships with proof of the free lunch program. We have been in our community 18 1/2 years and served over 2000 students.
Our staff are certified instructors with all the Pa. required clearances. We have a passion for teaching music and the performing arts to all ages especially our youth. We encourage parent support and will provide classes to motivate students to reach their creative potential in the arts.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A half hour or hour music lesson. Pre test to determine level and to set goals and objectives.

How did you get started teaching?
Music lessons at 8 years old and serving as church musician and choir director now 60 years. Passion to give back and help others achieve music and performing arts goals.love for music and teaching.

At risk, financially challenged families, anyone who has a desire to experience and appreciate music instruction.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We hosted the Allegheny Avenue Arts Fest held the first Saturday in August to showcase the talents of youth and adults in Philadelphia. Over 30 groups participated for the day long event with all kinds of talent, genres of music and instruments shared.
