About
My name is Marty Salen. I am a professional, Jazz-trained guitarist, composer, and studio musician. I studied at Berklee College Of Music in Boston for over 2 years, and I currently study at Temple University in Philadelphia.
I have played with many wonderful musicians such as:
Victor Wooten, Cecil Alexander, Berta Rojas, Eric Marienthal, and many more!
Although I have always loved playing, I have grown to really enjoy teaching as well. I find that working with students not only lets me share my knowledge, but also learn things from the students themselves. Together, we can work on anything from ensemble playing, and solo playing to music theory from basic key signatures or Jazz harmonies that will make you question science.
