About

My approach is to use chaos/order drills to balance the brain by using open strings with fretted ie closed to play single & 2 note scales at the same time i.e. Double-Stops at any speed that single line players would play . Chimes/harmonics that navigate all scales ,pentatonics & arpeggios! India's rhythm system to give a foundation to play all styles rock, Jazz , country telecaster style tapping , flamenco and theory , using electric & acoustic guitars w picks &/or fingers.

I really love sharing my multi-style path and opening the students potential to higher levels of expression w a balance of Heart , Hand & Head.

Stan is one of the most in-depth, surrendered to his artform and genuine teachers you will find in the world of modern guitar. Whatever it is you are after, he can help you hone in and create it. -A student of 15 years.

Stan is the man! I have been taking lessons from him for about 2 years now and hes taught me so much that I couldnt get anywhere else. I have learned a lot about music and playing the guitar and also a lot of important life lessons I will always hold on too. He has such a huge amount of knowledge I think I could spend all day everyday being taught by stan for the next 20 years and still be able to keep learning more from him. Every time I meet someone involved in music in nashville I ask them if they know Stan because 95% of the time the response is hell yeah Stan is a legend. His method breaks everything down to learn technique without commiting to any specific style. If you want to learn how to play the guitar stan is the best period. No matter what your goals are or what level you are at Stan can help he has been there done that and knows what needs to be done to get there.

Stan is a conceptual teacher that allows for whomever learns from him to be creative and flourish with their own application and musical expression! His concepts are unique and his approach to the development of technique and understanding of the guitar fingerboard are exemplary!

Besides just being a wonderful human being to associate with, this man brings more to the table than almost everyone on this planet in terms of artistic innovation and mastery of the guitar. Without a doubt, you will learn immensely from him! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! - James Musser (Nom. Best Guitar & Best LA Band/LA Music Awards)
