Sheepdog Krav Maga
About
Our Students are just like you, they expect more from their self defense program!
They don't want the same old kicking, punching and technique memorization that you can get anywhere.
We are here to motivate, encourage, educate and bring you to a level of "self defense maturity" that takes your confidence and safety to the next level.
No experience is required. We can modify techniques and combatives to accommodate your size, age or other physical restrictions! Learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones. We've got you on this!
Go to our website (Sheepdogkravmaga.com) and set up a free training session or give me a call.
Greater confidence, realistic defenses, and physical fitness are just a click or phone call away!
Sheepdog Krav Maga is a second family. Everyone supports each other despite where they may be in their "journey". We enjoy seeing people succeed and then start to stack on more goals. We will challenge you physically and mentally during the process. Seeing someone overcome a difficult series of combatives or a technique that has been challenging to them is extremely rewarding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For students with no experience, we will initially separate you from the regular class and review the fight stance and basic combatives. We will then introduce you into the regular class. The coaches and more advanced students will assist you as you learn. You will not be made to feel uncomfortable and safety is always our first objective!
If you have experience, you will be paired with another experienced student and closely coached until both of us are comfortable with your skill level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Brown belt with 360 Krav Maga
GIC1 Certification with KMG
Level one certification with USKMA
House of Worship Security Certification - ASIS
Executive Protection Training - MMSS
TN Armed Guard certification
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of students. There are weekly classes for everyone but we also train security teams and have worked with executive protection professionals that protect A list celebrities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When interviewing a Coach or taking your trial class look for honesty. Sometimes these "cool techniques" just don't work or have a low success ratio. Your Coach needs to be honest about this. Sometimes, certain techniques are taught as an alterntive when the first one fails or you perform it incorrectly. Stress will do that to you. If your Coach fails this test, they likely don't have the "self defensre maturity" to be teaching. You could be putting your life in their hands.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Commitment to training. There is no "Magic Move" that we can teach you. Whether it is Krav Maga, BJJ, MMA or some other martial art, it requires a committment to training. The student needs to evaluate their schedule and determine if they are going to have the time to commit to skills training and strength training outside of the class.
