About
I started playing guitar in 1999 and started playing professionally in 2010. I've toured all over the country with Texas Country Artist, Casey Donahew and appeared on his albums, All Night Party, 15 Years: The Wild Ride, One Light Town, and Lost My Brothers Goat. I have taught lessons throughout my entire professional career becuase I absolutely love it. I love to pass along the things that I've learned and continue to learn. We can reach goals in a career, start from scratch, dig out of a playing rut, or get you ready to do a blues jam on a Wednesday night. Let's book a lesson today!!
I have a passion for music that never stops. Whether it's teaching, recording, writing, producing, touring or just practicing, I just can't get enough. Feel free to follow my music journey--

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do an evaluation of the current skill level as well as the goals for lessons. Do you want to just jam with friends, learn how to improvise, learn to play songs you love, or take new steps in a career as a musician?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 22 years of experience playing music, 12 years of experience teaching privately and in a school, 10 years of touring, and have recorded many albums. I have a system that works, and the proof is in the great players that have taken lessons from me.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20 for 30 min
$30 for 45 min

How did you get started teaching?
I honestly love teaching. I spent so much time teaching myself that I wanted to share what I had learned with others. I get as much out of it as the students.
What types of students have you worked with?
Every type from beginner to advanced-- From those who have never touched a guitar to those who have spent their whole lives dedicated to it and everything in between.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Moving to Nashville!!!!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Decide what your goals are as a musician, and I will help make them happen.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How far would I like to go with this--how deep do I want to dig in.
