About

Professional audio production services - focused around audio mastering and film audio. I personally specialize in film score composition, production, mixing and mastering. I have a Music Technology Certificate from Nashville State and a Bachelors of Science degree in Audio Engineering Technology from Belmont University. I have over 2 dozen credits in short films across the US for either scoring, mixing, editing, sound design, or ALL of the above! I competed and won 2 years in a row at the Audio Engineering Society’s worldwide Student Recording Competition in the Audio for Visual Media category.

Vitruvian SoundTM️ wants to help you discover your passion, hone your skills,

NOTE: I DO NOT classically read music or teach musical theory. I offer ear-based or hands on training - so whether you’re wanting to learn a new instrument, or if you want to learn how to record your EP, how to train your ear, how to capture solid field recordings, or anything related to audio, Vitruvian SoundTM️ Is ready to help.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to get to know my students first! Having them explain their goal, their level coming into their first lesson, and their expectations allows me to better facilitate their needs! Some students will only want 1 or 2 lessons to get on a track, and some may need a few months or even years pending on their interest and level of dedication or where they want to get!

I've studied music my whole life! Began playing piano at 3 years old, it shaped most of my life and led me to playing in bands, writing my own music, and then on to Engineering and producing music for myself and others. I then went to Nashville State and completed the Technical Certificate program for a degree in Music Technology in 2013. From 2013-2017 I completed a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering Technology from Belmont University where I learned professional skills to begin my career as a jack-of-all-trades: film score composer, mastering engineer, audio producer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and consultant for a multitude of things from acoustics and studio setup to how to make string samples sound more contextually real and how to mix/master music.

I go case-by-case with clients - on nearly every project I take on! I like to know where they are coming from and where they want to go before hitting them with a rate. When it comes to teaching, I'm best oriented to teach those who have passion and a goal in mind before they begin! Some lessons such as initial songwriting or guitar sessions can be around $15-$20/hr, while advanced sessions with more complex software instruction can be around $100-$200/hr. I want to meet people where they are financially, with the goal of creating a relationship instead of a business transaction.
