About
Ian Wasdin is an Austin, TX-born and based guitarist and composer. Initially self-taught, Ian would go on to study with John Dearman of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Dr. Mollie Miller (Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas), Dr. Thomas Echols, and Dr. Dragos Ilie while attending the Butler School of Music at The University of Texas at Austin
Ian has been fortunate enough to study with some amazing players and teachers and has a wealth of knowledge that he is able to impart upon his students. He believes in an individualized approach to teaching, where the student's interests and ambitions are catered to in each lesson. Whether you're looking to learn how to read music and learn about music theory or simply want to be able to play your favorite songs, Ian is excited to help you along in your musical journey.
