About
I am a working musician in the industry with over 20 years of professional experience in both live and studio settings. Having received an Austin Music Award for best bass player in 2009, I consider myself to be not only an accomplished musician but also established within the Austin community.
Music is an integral part of my life. In my opinion, it is also a fundamental part of all our lives. My goal as a teacher is to inspire students to find their passion in their instrument and to make it an integral part of their lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, to find out how much knowledge they already have and decide what course of action to take in regards to lesson plans. Learning is all about comfort. Then, when a student is comfortable with the material, they are more likely to accelerate their education.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates Degree in Music and a Bachelor's Degree in Music Business.

$40/hr
$30/half hr
How did you get started teaching?
I've been playing music my whole life. When I became old enough parents started asking me to give their kids' lessons.
