Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We can book your next appointment at our desk, or we offer online booking through our site at your convenience. We are available 7 days a week by appointment for various lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Multiple music degrees between the staff, including music education, performance, and composition. Staff is either degreed in an area of music, or has completed college level music course work in an effort to attain a music degree.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes! Our music lesson rates are the same for all teachers. We offer private music lessons sold in packages, or a single pay option with a credit card on file.
New Student Enrollment is only $30.
Private 30 Minute Lessons range in price from $25 - $35 depending on how many are purchased at a time.
How did you get started teaching?
Each teacher has a different story, but we all fell in love with music at an early age. Most of us have been teaching since we graduated high school.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 3-72. All skill levels, beginner to advanced. We welcome students with educational special needs and have experience with a variety of learning differences and challenges.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Each teacher performs and has many fond stories of playing music at venues around the country and even internationally. Each year we host 3 student concerts giving students an opportunity to perform in front of their families and friends.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Education and passion are not the only qualifying characteristics of a great teacher. Look for someone who genuinely takes an interest in your musical goals and abilities. Learning music should be about developing the student into the greatest musician he/she can be, not a demonstration of the teacher's accomplishments. Look for an instructor who not only teachers you everything he/she knows, but has the ability to coach you to become a better musician than even he/she is!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much time am I willing to invest every day in my musical ability?
