My name is Leslie and I love teaching private lessons! I am a recent graduate of Southwestern College in Kansas, Bachelor of Music Performance, playing primarily Flute. I have taught a few lessons to flute students at the Intermediate school in Liberty Hill, Texas, as well as many beginning piano, singing and beginning-intermediate ukulele lessons with the Community Music School at Southwestern College. I am very patient and understanding with students and any accommodations that we need to make, I am more than willing to make them! I believe that anyone who has the will to learn something new, or to continue learning, at any age can do it. My favorite part about teaching lessons is when a student has their own moment. It is different for every person, but always happens. I love watching students learn new things. Maybe a student is having trouble with a passage for several weeks in a row, then one week they come in and they've got it! That's my favorite part about what I do.
