My name is Neely Rose, I Studied music in California at Musicians Institute... I have been playing my whole life, it's what I do for a living, and its what I love.. I have been in several different bands, from bluegrass and country to rock and roll. I have been teaching (mandolin, guitar, bluegrass, blues, and various styles) for 4 years. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First and foremost is understanding my students intentions for wanting to play an instrument, why they want too, what they want to play, what inspires them. After I find out what my students want then I show my students the necessary tools for them to reach their personal goals. I teach music theory if my students are interested, if they are not then I teach what they want.
