What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First teach them the basics and learn the parts of the guitar, as well as starting the ear training for tuning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Pro Musician and Music Producer for almost 25 yrs now and this has helped me configure my craft.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually go between $25-$30 per hour. I perfer to teach by hour and not by lesson.
How did you get started teaching?
I started in a High School Summer Program and we taught Elementary kids as a group, they loved it as did I.
What types of students have you worked with?
Staring from 7 yrs old to 40 yrs old. I can teach anyone who wants to learn.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Finally opening my own Studio and recording my own music.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Practice, practice, practice and only practice on the days that you eat!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How fast do they want to learn and if they want to learn the theory part of it.
