Frequently asked questions

Suzuki Academy was founded in 1989 and offers musical training by some of the most experienced, educated, and trained professionals from around the world.

We provide five classes in one month; four of those are private lessons (depending on the students age, they will need a certain amount of time in the private lesson) and a one-hour long group lesson. These five classes total are paid in one single monthly tuition payment.

We utilize the Suzuki Method which was developed in Japan by Shinichi Suzuki.

Through this method, we focus on ear training, parent involvement (any students below age 10 must have a parent in the lesson with them), which goes along with the traditional way of learning music (scales, theory, reading notes).

Because this method is such a natural way of helping any student learn music, we provide lessons for young children (starting age typically 2 years old) and adults. We have highly trained teachers, some that even specialize in providing lessons for people with disabilites.

These instruments, these music lessons, require time and dedicated study.

We focus on teaching long-term because these instruments are not able to mastered in a year or two. Playing music is a gift you can carry out well into your life no matter the age, playing music affects you constantly for the better. Our goal at Suzuki Academy to enhance your (or your child's) life.
