About
Jammin is the goal! I want to build your lessons based on YOUR goals, talents, and interests! There's more than one way to learn guitar, or any music for that matter! I've played all kinds of shows- opening and headliner, major and local; different genres and backgrounds. I am also classically trained for vocal performance, studied in music theory, play multiple instruments, and am currently working as an audio engineer and producer.
Music is a puzzle you can make your own pieces to. Learn the rules of 12 notes and the possibilities are endless. Natural patterns help us see nature more clearly. I enjoy seeing differently.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Very much depends on the student. Some people learn more by math, others by feeling the vibe.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up taking all kinds of music classes- choir, orchestra, music theory, etc. I have played in more bands than I can count, but the important ones made money doing it. I’ve been signed to a rap label as an rnb artist, and signed to a major label rapper as an alternative artist. I’ve released my own albums, featured on others, and the only reason I was able to do any of this was because I learned the fundamentals.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20/30minutes or $30/hr. The first lesson also comes with a cheat sheet!
How did you get started teaching?
A friend asked me to teach him a song so he could sing it for his wife. Problem was, he wasn’t a guitar player. Or a singer. He pulled it off in a week though and it wasn’t half bad!
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with some well mannered children, but most of my students have been 16-25, with the exception of a group of older gentlemen I’d go as far as to call friends now.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a teacher that wants to build around you- not one that’s always by a book. Every student is different, especially in art.
