TRAK Academy is dedicated to providing music education in a positive environment to students of all ages and interests. By focusing on YOU, the individual, and your interests and talents, and encouraging you to grow in your pursuit of music, we teach you what you want to know while increasing your knowledge and understanding of how music functions. We stress fundamentals such as Timing, Ear Training, and Proper Technique while allowing you, the student, to provide input on which style and influences excite you the most. Music is FUN and we make sure that your enjoyment is at the center of your participation with our academy!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We take an applied learning approach where we define a specific and attainable goal. Then we identify only the skills and subskills needed to reach the goal. Our sutdents learn faster and acheive their goals because they aren't learning for learning take. We teach them to work toward and worthy ideal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Piano and Teachers National Guild. I have a bachelors in Music Busines and have been performing and teaching professionally for 20 years.

30 minute weekly private lessons are $120 per month
45 minute weekly private lessons are $160 per month
60 minute weekly private lessons are $200 per month
30 minute group classes are $96 per month
60 minute group classes are $180 per month
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching as a music minister for over 20 years and took over a teaching Academy in 2015.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who understands what you are trying to accomplist and willing and able to help you accomplish your goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Understand and identify your target goals. This will help you build a plan to achieve success in your practice. This will also help you stay focused when it gets challenging.
