Music by Gabriel was created to bring a unique approach to learning how to express yourself through music. I pride myself in being a bridge between two worlds, connecting structured music learning with expressive freestyling while connecting students to their inner creativity to bring it all alive.
I have been a musician for 31 years since the age of 4 and have been teaching music to students for 15 years now.
I have a formal music education from the SUNY Albany in Albany, New York, Troy University in Troy, Alabama with specialties in music performance, composition, and keyboard/piano. I've also received an Associates in Music Production from the LA Film School in Los Angeles, California.
I also have recorded and composed professionally with many artists in the state of New York, Alabama, and Texas. I currently run a professional studio teaching music student vocals, piano/keyboard proficiency, recording, and song-writing.
Students and music lovers should expect to experience a new level of freedom in learning music when studying with Music by Gabriel.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After Initial contact with a potential student, I schedule the first session as a getting to know each other session where they learn who I am and I learn more about them. They also audition what their current capabilities are and they get to sample my music abilities as well. After that process, we begin to discuss their aspirations and what they'd like to learn. Then finally, if we have a match and they'd like to continue, we talk about scheduling, lesson times, and amount of lessons per month and requirements (if any) needed to make each lesson a success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
*Certificate in Music Performance & Piano from both Schenectady Community College (SCCC), Schenectady, New York, and SUNY Albany in Albany, New York
*Associates in Music Production & Music Industry from LA Film School in Los Angeles, California
*I've also studied piano/keyboard from the age of 7 throughout my college years as well.
