A little about your guitar instructor:

I started playing guitar as a way to improve and advance my passion for songwriting.

I have played guitar for over 40 years and taught guitar to beginners for over 20 years.

As a licensed Early Childhood Director I have worked with children and families for over 20 years.

My teaching method is through the utilization of tablature and song for everyone 6 and up.

Which means you will be playing a song by the end end of your first 30 minute lesson.

My experience has been that this method is the best way to get individuals excited about playing guitar while their friends and family become excited for their accomplishment.

For my students age 2 - 5 we will explore the instrument, learn how to hold and strum, and finally play and sing.

Yes, I have taught children 2 years of age to play the guitar while singing.
