Hello,
I am Cenovio and I teach a profound way of learning the guitar. I have been playing,performing and teaching guitar for over 30 years.I have been on stage with local andinternational touring acts. I have taught students who have never performed or played an instrument before and had them play, perform and be on stage in less than 2 months.
Through step by step lessons and pin pointing the areas of concentration and needed effort of concentrating with a gradual process to better understand the guitar and your ability to play.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will walk the student through the understanding of the guitar. From the guitar it self to the actual playing and structure behind the playing to achieve guitar playing results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying the guitar for over 30 years. Through trail and error from playing in front of mirrors to performing on stage, I have learned the actual concept of playing. Your individual gift will be expressed through this training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons start at $30.00 for one half hour for one lesson a week and $50.00 for a one hour lesson
First half hour always starts with the fundamentals and 2nd half is an slight increase to the fundamentals. All lesson in with a chord, song, or practice skill to take home.
How did you get started teaching?
I learned to play at age 6 and as a teenager I decided to form a band. With no players available to me around my age I started to ask kids in my school of they would like to join my band and I would teach them to play. A classmate said " If I knew how to play I would join your band". This lead to many students later.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked mostly with students that needed to go from never playing to playing and performing on stage in less than 2 months. I have work with stay at home moms who just wanted to add music to their household and people who just want to broaden their horizons.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Have an open mind and a desire to learn because some times it leads to your passion.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Every question is acceptable if it will help in understanding the process in learning.
